We pull the plug on vegetables. If you're braindead you're practically dead, and pulling the plug is reasonable imo. If you can pull the plug on someone with no brain activity, then you should also be able to pull the plug on a foetus without brain activity - which, not coincidentally, occurs in the third month of pregnancy, which is the deadline for abortion in most of Europe.
Medical exceptions are not taken into account, as always, and anyone who brings them up as a counter-argument to the general case is r-slurred.

One small difference is that when a person is braindead then they're not going to stop being braindead, whereas the whole point of abortion is to hurriedly seize that window of opportunity before the inconvenient little clump of cells develops equally inconvenient brain activity.

I always ask, well if they aren't alive then how can they reproduce? Feed? Self regulate? The definition of life is: "capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continuing change before death." So if they aren't prions or viruses, wtf are they? If they're not living, we'd have to either change the definition of inorganic or of death itself
