Here is a list of things that /r/starbucks employees complain about

I have developed a minor obsession with /r/starbucks because it's full of people who truly hate every part of their jobs. One day I might even go into a Starbucks IRL and order a pumpkin spice latte. Here are ten things that Starbucks employees hate:

  1. When customers ask for a straw

  2. When customers don't know the exact terminology (and of course the staff don't clarify)

  3. Being misgendered by customers who get their gender wrong when they're facing away

  4. Not being able to wear whatever they want

It's bad coffee (they burn the beans because they think it makes better lattes/cappuccinos), so they've done the American thing and pivoted to just making cups of sugar.
