I think it would be pretty hard for Israel not to win and it's going to be more like what type of victory it is and the aftermath. The US ‘won' in Iraq after all.
If any of the recent indigenous nonsense (eg Voice vote, moon rights, fake mass graves) has taught us anything, it's that the people who brutally slaughtered all their enemies were the longterm thinkers. Outrage will become the domain of history books, but their current culture will remain stronger for it.
