It is to the Australians. Because the outback makes you stupid. Did you know abos could speak properly and knew metalworking and agriculture when they first landed in Australia? The cursed land, however, turned them r-slurred over the years so now feral dogs roam everywhere and they drink gasoline.

The problem is huffing it, not drinking it. There are special gas stations near heavily aboriginal areas. The pumps won't dispense into portable containers or something. I haven't actually been to one.
