I read The Villainess Turns the Hourglass and it was pretty good. I think it needed to end when the bitchy step sister died since I just got bored after they introduced the time traveling, teleporting daughter. Also I didn’t appreciate the fact that Aria was secretly a royal all the time.

I also read the one where it’s a video game and there’s a commentary running over the game that the characters can hear. It was cute and I enjoyed the real world characters having that awkward teenage romance outside of the typical Isekai in your face type of romance. Apparently the anime is running this season so maybe I’ll watch it.

New CSM chapter was tight. I watched the anime and thought it was tonally perfect. I think people griping that it was “too serious” are just manga readers who are tonally poisoned from part two which is significantly more light hearted than part one. I remember my first read through of part one being very tense. I could tell something big and awful was coming I just couldn’t tell what. Obviously Makima was not human and probably didn’t have the best intentions for Dennis but it was hard to pin down exactly what her aim was. I think the anime portrays that perfectly. If I had one gripe it was that Power’s voice was way too high pitched but I got used to that pretty quickly.

I think I’m going to reread BSD and read some more otome villainess isekai because I need more gaslight gatekeep girlboss in my life.

Watching a lot of old Mecha because I'm hyped for armored core and Japs have shit taste and decided giant robots arnt cool past 2008 for some reason except Gundam there still going strong. I really like Iron blooded orphans.

Valrave was pretty good if you don't mind cgi.

Obsolete wasnt good but it was entertaining for a few hours despite the animation looking like RWBY.

I didnt bother to participate in the last 2 threads but ive not been stalling my anime lately. Might have been that I took a pretty long break last year, but Ive been binging like 5-6 episodes every night these past couple of weeks and somehow even the show I liked the least out of all the ones I watched, I still enjoyed and gave it like a 6/10. Everything Ive watched has been a banger somehow.

I watched Vermeil in gold. I expected it to be a harem with a big titty succubus lead, instead the harem ended in episode 3 and it turned out to be a great romance instead. And the romance goes hard, and fast. Like horimiya fast. The major downside is the mc being the generic spineless protag you see everywhere though even he slowly changes. But the star is Vermeil and she is truly best girl. Unfortunately the manga is dead I think?

The World of Otome Games Is Tough for Mobs is also a banger that is completely carried by its gigachad mc. The first ep was kind of mid but it picked up after that. Imagine bakarina but with a gigachad mc isntead of the most insufferable c*nt.

The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody - the other show with a succubus main girl. Not as good as the above shows but still a banger.

Arifureta S2 - I love my isekai and I love my harem isekai. If I had a nickel for every 500 year old vampire loli I , I'd have 3 nickels, which isnt a lot, but I would sure love more. S2 was better than S1, though I wish it went more ecchi.

RPG real estate - It was way too long since the last time Doga Kobo peaked this much with a cgdct show and my god did they peak once more. This is the wataten doga kobo I know. This show is a contender for my anime of the year. I made like 100 screenshots of this show because its just that darn good. The Moe revolution and its consequences have been a salvation for the weeb race.

Oh yeah also chensoman. Was alright.

I am rather enjoying Kaiko sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-dai) no Slow na Second Life, a guy is fired from his job in the Demon army because he, unlike all demons, can't use magic. Runs into some humans, learns he is actually human. Spends a lot of time hanging out with a woman and doing small jobs for the town. Its kind of comfy.

Vinland Saga is off with a great start with the second season. Really great episode

Nier anime got mediocre first ep but the second easily made up for it. It was incredible

Hope they fix the CGI though. Engels looked fine in first ep but the flight units were atrocious
