I'm only vaguely familiar with Mel Nekomata but from what I gather she started off as a /here/tuber on /vt/ who would occasionally fart on mic which cultivated an audience of brap fetishists who then got mad and stalked her when she stopped wanting to do it causing her to rebrand multiple times in a futile attempt to escape coomers. This is apparently not even her first time suicide baiting.

I was busy yesterday and am a bit sick so this post is late.

I watched about half of 'More than a married couple, but not quite lovers'. Apart from the ridiculous premise (the students of that school MC goes to have 'marriage training', which means that a boy and girl randomly get selected to live together in an apartment where they have to simulate marriage after school. They also get points for how well they do.), it also has completely standard characters, the MC is a kitty and the female lead seems to be a schizophrenic.

So yeah, its not really good but Ill probably finish it anyway.

I watched black summoner this week. Idk why its called black summoner when the MC is white and there are no black people. There is, however, a harem of monsters and monster girls that live rent free in his head. Started out kinda interesting before devolving into the very standard copy paste isekai.

I also watched Life With an Ordinary Guy Who Reincarnated Into a Total Fantasy Knockout - which has the stupidest name imaginable. However, it was a decently good slapstick comedy isekai. I enjoyed it more than I thought, especially considering I very much dislike gender bending shit. Speaking of which, idk why there are like 5 gender bending shows every season now.

Not watching anything this season but I'll get around to Kyokou Suiri eventually after re-reading the part of the manga covered in S1. It was easily one of the best shows of 2020

What sort of opinions do you have about the various chink subbreeds from media you consoom?

In my experience gooks are the most amoral, their protagonists would rarely be seen as 'good' in Japanese and Chinese moral structure at best they're chaotic neutrals.

Chinx can't think of living anywhere outside a massive bug hive, all of their fantasy settings are in a land based empire. Protagonists are absolutely good, no shades of grey to them and no goodness in the villains. Power is worshiped over all else(much more prominently than in Korean and Jap media in my experience) and I've yet to find a hero who's weak but gets by improvising in chink media, its all people who can beat their enemies in open fight.

Japs are easily the moralstraggiest of the bunch, they tend to idealize heroes who are of middling strength and even their villains frequently have redeeming qualities or back stories. Easily the closest moral structure to westoids.
