If you want to learn realistic drawing in general the best book I have ever come across is The Elements of Realistic Drawing by Marina Fridman. It quite frankly explains the whole deal in the clearest way I have ever seen in only 50 pages.
It used to be freely available on her website, but you can still find it on scribd if you Google the title .pdf. just use a scribd ripping site to download it.
