I vote that !art should be strictly used for weekly !art threads and not regular !art postings or to otherwise just talk about !art. Otherwise weekly !art enjoyers might leave !art because they don't care about other !art pings. Then what would we do?

The ping group is for the weekly prompt threads, and for news about the hole. Getting notifications about art in this hole can be achieved by subscribing to the hole. If you create something, as say, a response to a post or comment made my another user, there is nothing stopping you from taking that thing and posting it in this hole too afterwards, maybe with link to the context. You get more dramacoins for threads anyway.
