How is it your shapes look like shit but the face somehow looks good?

>the face somehow looks good?

That is very nice of you to say.

The main reason is probably because I didn't spend a lot of time on them compared to the face. I have a goal of drawing every day, and posting in the hole every other day, but I have been busy and stressed lately. I can draw better shapes if I put in a bit more effort.

Wasted an entire day on a math problem. But just realized I was waaaay over thinking it... FML

Nah, I am taking calc 3 this semester and I am being humbled quite a bit. Turns out the mandatory assignment I have to pass to take the exam exclusively covers topics from the first chapter of the semester, and the last chapter (which I have skimmed). I have been asked to solve the line integral https://i.rdrama.net/images/17294012347038426.webp using Green's theorem. There are zero examples in my book, zero examples from my lecture, zero examples online and chatGPT does not seem to understand the problem and keeps finding for C instead of C2.

The possible solution that I might settle for, is finding for C, solve for C1 directly, and then subtract the line integral over line C1 from the entire C.

if you dont mind, i wouldnt mind taking a look. tbf it sounds like you have the right solution anyways. :integral::d: :x: :partial: :c:

A closed curve C is created from two curves C1 and C2 and goes counter clockwise

C1: y = x

C2: y = sqrt(x)

And a vector field

Calculate the line integral https://i.rdrama.net/images/17294012347038426.webp

Using Green's theorem

That is the question

I got -2 from the greens theorem and explicitly calculating it https://i.rdrama.net/images/17295209027219038.webp https://i.rdrama.net/images/1729520903610078.webp

which agrees with this calculator i found online https://i.rdrama.net/images/17295211119194393.webp

We seem to have gotten the same result, but I did notice that I had made a minor mistake in my submission. Thanks for making me feel a little less spooked.
