Long story short, I got /r/AgainstHateSubreddits converted from "gripe into the void about hate groups" to "make an argument that hate groups are destroying the site, the AUP already prohibits them, make Reddit execs do something" and then a bunch of us kept hammering away at that.

Also I used the API & PushShift's API to run a bunch of queries & searches to target hate groups for documentation & reporting, filed & followed up on reports, and made "F*** Your Hate" my avocation for years.
