I went to a LARP event and was simply too hardened by my time learning weeaboo fightan magics
, that they sidelined me and used me to beat the piss out of the other teams knights and men-at-arms
Then I was unceremoniously asked to never come back for being too dangerous (aka they had a no head-strike rule and no-grappling rule; both of which I used repeatedly because I'm far too sperg to stop myself from bisecting their skulls and crushing their weak girl wrists and knees)
I marched on to new battlefields to further hone my blade (I never went to a LARP ever again)

I just went because I was told I could smash nerds with foam blade and have wenches sit on my lap. I dunno if they do lap-sitting anymore since I went back in like 2010, but who knows if they've gotten sluttier or more prudish since then
