It speaks to how Reddit's own gap in trust & safety policies - maintained in the nominal interests of defeating censorship - enabled rampant bad faith abuses, and the trust thermocline inversion - the need to disassociate from Reddit in interest of one's own Goodwill.

It has a reputation based on … harassment campaigns. It's generally considered a thing to steer well clear of. I'm uncomfortable even typing that, because, hey, that'd be exactly the kind of paragraph that gets a harassment campaign sent my way.
