I cook my bacon on low heat because makes better bacon and doesn't splatter, but it needs to be thick cut, not Walmart Hormel frankenpork, and all you're supposed to do is put bacon on a pan on lowish heat.
He's appropriating griller culture here -- he thinks bacon fried over a medium heat for 10 minutes is "low and slow"
Bardb-word probably never cooked anything on coals. No way he knows about the snake method. Utterly stupid and incompetent Bardfinn probably fraudulent yet again.
You will never be a Weber Charcoal Basket. You have no set of 2, you have no steel construction, you have no firebrick for heat zone separation. You are a redneck party trick twisted by compromise and optimism into a crude mockery of indirect heating perfection
Bacon is the easiest thing possible to cook. Easier than eggs even. You put it in a pan on medium heat and flip it once or twice until it looks done. There are zero tricks anyone has that will make it come out any better, and cooking it in maple syrup or putting brown sugar on it or whatever fatasses do is disgusting. Just cook it, it's bacon. It's got enough going on without fricking with it.

Yeah I usually just make a package at the time and then freeze what I don't use in parchment paper to use later.
