There's lots of accessible literature about how Nazism itself spawned from a Return-to-Glory-Days Völkisch movement (what we'd call today Tradition / Crunchy) but less about the insecure toxic masculinity part, & with Trumpism on Reddit "crunchy" (ecofascism, RETVRN) was an afterthought
