I saw a C17 today morning.
Frickers are very noisy the airport is nearby but they are noisy on a different level. Good start to the day though

Do you have showers in houses, if so, why so much public bathing in that town?

Poorest of poors didn't. Things are changing though, I've noticed a lot less recently.
Plus old Kolkata has those things on roads, idk they were meant to water horses or wash the roads or something like that I think but now they are just a very nice bathing spot for poors(like in places near markets you'll have poors who maybe caught a train at 3AM to reach there at 7 and so they just bath there

Yeah. Our museums really are fricked.
Ikr in Kolkata they used to sell it as a drink. Here in Delhi they just sell you this disgusting green goo that you have to mix yourself I miss bhang. Drinking one glass and going on repeat barge trips across the Ganges at evening
Good to know. I used to look down on it a bit but after seeing a bit of the rest of the country I think we have it pretty comfy too Too bad there's no jobs there.

India is surely something for a western to travel thru. I spent some time in unreserved train class, lol
Bailed after a few hours, holy shit

Through which state? Its generally a bad idea, yeah. Though I have a 14 day trip planned where I'll only be staying in hotels for 8 nights since I'm traveling at night and a lot of my tickets are the cheapest reserved so I'm sure I'll regret it. Hope I get a berth at least. Oh well I can sleep sitting too. Just have to keep my bag secure.

Kerala. Got mis-sold a ticket.
People were nice, and once I got the next train after a few days wait IT WAS OVER 24 HRS LATE TO MUMBAI!
Worth it tho, fun times

Yeah Kerala people would be chill. Generally south of the Vindhya mountains, north and west of Delhi you're fine. WB too except for some belts. Worst belts to travel through are central Gangetic, absolutely terrible people.
Lmao how long was original travel time? That's another worry of mine, a lot of the trains I'm booked on aren't superfast maybe we'll get parallel tracked to allow a coal express to pass This has happened to me once. We sat in an open field before a station and saw a coal train flagged through.
