At this point I'm in favour of cancelling republic day entirely. 15th Aug is enough I'd prefer it be in winter instead of monsoon too but as a day 26th Jan is pretty non remarkable. Also permanent ban on any foid participating in the parade till they have at least 50% labour force participation rate.
