The tesco beef brisket, although it is slop, is by far the most budget friendly meal for people trying to gain weight fast and somewhat healthily.
[[Note that this is ONLY when this item is reduced in price, for the full price of £5.15 it is by no means worth it.]]
As seen, half of the packet contains 48.9g of protein, nearly 100g for the entire thing easily eaten by one person, as well as being 672 calories total, leaving room to fit in other calorie dense foods containing more nutritious value.
Granted this means it also includes 50% of your daily saturated fats and 30% of salt, but who gives a shit about that? The big draw is that this when double yellow stickered down to its minimum price is £1.90. This is less than some of their sandwiches at full price. And, therefore, makes this in my eyes the best deal that can be found in the store.
Whether or not it tastes like boot leather is yet to be decided, I will report once heated up.

Basically your body can hold onto about 500 total grams of carbs, about 400 in your muscles in case you need quick energy to run away from a sabertooth tiger, and another 100 in your liver as storage for your brain.
Your brain pretty much can only digest sugar, about 100 grams a day.
If you entirely quit ingesting carbohydrates, those 500 grams will get gobbled up by your brain within 4-7 days. Once it runs out of food, you'll get what they call "keto flu" where you get massive fogbrain and lethargy. It lasts no more than 6-12 hours.
What happens during this phase is all of the water that is required to hold your stored-up sugar isn't needed and you piss it all away. This is what is meant by "losing water weight." It's like 10-15 pounds within a week. It's not fat loss, but it's a necessary step.
So you've lost sugar and thereby water from your body and your brain is starving. Don't worry, your brain can eat one more thing -- ketones.
Your body will start taking fat and protein and converting them to ketones for your brain to eat. You'll experience almost no cravings after this point, your appetite will be lower, you'll get fuller with less food, and stay fuller longer. After that you just keep at it. Make sure to eat high protein and exercise so that you focus things to fat loss.
Also don't do this if you are diabetic because there are bad medical problems that can arise.
I find that string cheese, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, and peanut butter are meals in themselves and just taste better once your desire for sweet is gone.

Thanks for the long explanation i appreciate you taking the time to do that, luckily im not diabetic.
Im not looking to lose weight at all right now, but i am also looking to decrease the amount of processed sugary items I eat, if i swap it out with natural sugar in fruit I'd assume that would negate this from happening?

"Natural" sugars are not magic.

"Naturally occuring quantities" is the better term. Sugar is sugar, but the amount of it in an apple is better than Skittles.
You essentially force yourself to chew and eat a whole fruit rather than pound a jar of M&Ms and still feel hungry.

True for many fruits, but there are exceptions like bananas that have a glycemic profile closer to a cookie.

Oh yeah totally. Our modern cultivars aren't really natural, they've been artificially selected for higher flavor and pulp for thousands of years. There's no way they would ever evolve like this.

a lot less satiating, no one gets fat eating grapes, berry's and other fruits

That's because of what's in the fruit other than sugar and the difficulty (peels, seeds, washing, etc.) of consuming some fruit from its unprocessed, whole form.

TL;DR: ACA tries to spin keto basics for you, but honestly, it's like they're trying to solve world hunger while being diabetic.
"Hey guys, so carbs are bad and our bodies can only handle 500g before we turn into a brain-deprived zombie. If we cut them out entirely, we'll get 'keto flu' (aka brain fog and lethargy) for up to 12 hours... but don't worry, after that, our brains will magically start eating ketones and we won't be hungry anymore! Just eat string cheese and Greek yogurt all day, I'm sure your taste buds will thank you."

That bot is great. I love the random injection of "solve world hunger" instead of "don't eat like a 5 year old r-slur"
