Social media is the greatest pacifier of social discontent, people get to vent out into the void cope that it matters and don't do anything IRL. You can easily find bomb making manuals online yet almost none of the online seem to ever use them. Its very blackpilling recognizing how much of humanity is cowards, I include myself too of course.

It's not just social media, pretty much all of the underaged vandalism and violent crime literally pittered off when kids started getting Nintendo 64s and TVs in their bedroom. The old 80s "It's 10pm, do you know where your kids are" commercials started getting laughed at in the 90s, because it became "lol yeah, he's playing Zelda in his room".
