Downdongers have the same effect as upsorens on your post/comment ranking and they both give you one dramacoin and increase your truescore by one
The only difference is it decreases the vote counter on your comment/post, but if enough people upsoren you and also downsoren you on the same comment/post its marked as controversial and turns the vote counter to orange, which makes it stand out more and makes ppl more likely to vote on your post
Being that this is a community for drama controversial comments are a badge of honor
Tldr embrace the downdongers and focus your seething on dramacels who comment without voting
