No Drama. I am upset. He had multiple seizures today and I had to drive to the vet to meet my mom and my sister where he got put down. He was 17 and I knew this was coming long ago because he well outlived his life expectency, but today was the day. I'm not posting a picture because frick you. My mood is completely wrecked tho. I didn't know that the vets did it right in front of you. I've euthanatized tons of mice as part of my job, but I wasn't ready for this. I'd really rather they walk out and tell you when it's done. Feel free to dox your pets or whatever below.

when i had to put my childhood kitty down someone told me that when you put an animal down, you transfer all their hurt and suffering to yourself. the pain we feel is worth it if it means they don't have to feel it anymore
i'm sorry though :( 17 is incredible, he was very lucky to grow old with people who cared so much about him
