The whole stream was a shitshow, but I don't think Nick was actually masturbating in this clip and this was just a really poorly communicated joke. If you just watch the stream, this theory doesn't hold much water, as it genuinely looks like he just randomly has a wank, even in the context of the stream. However this theory makes a bit more sense in a
way if you regularly watch 
's Mad at the Internet streams, as there's some hidden context which wasn't obvious in the stream this clip was from. Honestly though, the context doesn't make things much better.
A known MATI paypig is someone called AnimeSucksCopeAndSneed, who always sends Null super-chats containing a link to furry porn of a fat purple dragon
eating pizza while farting 
to annoy him.
During Nick's stream, he received a super-chat from AnimeSucksCopeAndSneed which linked furry porn of this nature, and he opened it off-screen on a different monitor. His attempt of a 'joke' was that he was pretending that he was jacking-off to degen furry porn, and that he 'forgot to turn the camera off'. The problem was that as Nick was absolutely fricked up on alcohol
and coke 
, he didn't actually mention or imply what he was looking at, so if you were watching the stream, it just looked like he just started randomly masturbating and there was no reason to think otherwise.
The latest Mad at the Internet covered the stream, and AnimeSucksCopeAndSneed definitely confirmed that he sent that super-chat to Nick, and that it linked furry porn.
