If you just watch the stream, this theory doesn't hold much water, as it genuinely looks like he just randomly has a wank, even in the context of the stream. During Nick's stream, he received a super-chat from AnimeSucksCopeAndSneed which linked furry porn of this nature, and he opened it off-screen on a different monitor. His attempt of a 'joke' was that he was pretending that he was jacking-off to degen furry porn, and that he 'forgot to turn the camera off'. The problem was that as Nick was absolutely fricked up on alcohol
and coke 
, he didn't actually mention or imply what he was looking at, so if you were watching the stream, it just looked like he just started randomly masturbating and there was no reason to think otherwise.
The latest Mad at the Internet covered the stream, and AnimeSucksCopeAndSneed definitely confirmed that he sent that super-chat to Nick, and that it linked furry porn.
