The last successful Luftwaffe attack on a British city - in February 2021

It's pretty interesting. Basically:

In 2021, construction crews in Exeter dug up an undetonated 1,000 kg (2,200 lb) German bomb from the Second World War. The bomb couldn't be defused, and so had to be detonated on-site.

Despite extensive efforts to limit the damage, many buildings were badly damaged in the city. Insurance companies didn't pay out due to typical policy exclusions for warfare. The British government refused to pay as well, so the property owners got screwed and had to fund their own repairs.

They shouldve just poured wet concrete on top of it. Did they not see that mythbusters episode?

Not sure. Though I think I would rather trust Royal Navy demolition teams over the R*pe Blob.
