My primary therapist told me basically I'd never be happy with how I look and to get over it πŸ€—

My doctor who keeps telling me to see a therapist also keeps talking about how much her last therapist sucked and how she's trying to find a good one :marseysquint:

Most of therapy is just about figuring out what's going wrong, what you want to fix and making a plan to address it. You don't necessarily need to pay someone if you take making changes seriously. DM me if you want to chit chat about specifics. But the two books I'd suggest are: the feeling good handbook by David Burns to learn CBT and the DBT Workbook (the green one). You can also watch YouTube videos about CBT & how to apply it to your situation. I am paying out the butt to do this intensively ($1k/day) but it's truly helping.

I'll whip your balls until you fix your life for $900/day. It's a good deal.
