but they weren't goth-goth they were 2012 dubstep, BBV, and MCR fans
but they insisted they were goth, while younger people would yell "EMO" at them and other people called them "scene kids"
I looked goofy following them around, because I wasn't allowed to dye my hair, wear makeup, or pick out my own clothes as a teenager 🙃
