In theory, but the difference is fruits either take a lot of effort to eat (apples, tangerines, pears) or are ridiculously low calorie (like most berries).

Only fruit I could probably eat over 1000 calories of in a session is probably bananas lol

Sure. But for contrast, I straight up don't think I could get fat eating broccoli. Okay maybe if I drowned it in butter or whatever but not like normal broccoli. It doesn't have many calories for how physically filling it is, which is why I prefer veggies as snack foods, you can "pig out" and you've only eaten like 50 calories lol.
