Gym bros don't season their food :!marseychonkerfoidpuke:

>Also, when you're cutting and hungry you'd be surprised how much more tasty things that would normally seem bland are.

This doesn't explain the wooden cutting board dudes with their unseasoned ribeye and fried eggs

"Nuh uh, eating for actually substance doesn't excuse having no taste" :marseychtorrr2:

>I believe taking the romance out of food and treating diet as chemicals to be optimized helps you take control and seek that optimum diet.

How sad to be afraid of pepper

Not as sad as being obese is.

>All these comments saying food is fuel and not for enjoyment…god that sounds like a drab and brutal existence.

This "every meal should be a treat" attitude is why you weigh 350lbs

Ehhh preparing unseasoned food is still r-slurred. She mentioned some sauce that adds 70 calories but you could also just season it with various spices/herbs which would add basically 0 calories (okay okay... maybe like 1-2 calories).

I very often eat just roasted chicken breast and vegetables for dinner, probably at least 2-3 times/week, but I season it because seasonings are cheap and basically add no calories to the meal, they just make it taste better.

I'm not an ascetic though because I'm not r-slurred.

I add random spice mixes to my regular daily foods. No way am I making a sauce from scratch for my daily lunchtime chicken and rice.

I don't even salt or pepper my steak. Doesn't need it. Fry it in a little unsalted butter and it's good.

If you can't eat plain rice or a baked potato and enjoy it, you're eating too much salt.

okay sure but steak is pretty different from chicken

chicken, especially boneless skinless chicken breast, should be seasoned

I once was staying with an anorexic chick for a few days and when i got there the only food she had was like 4 yogurts and a bag of ham her mom gave her. She didn't let me eat it because "it's good ham".

Woke up the first morning to find her feeding the ham to a stray cat she just found wtf man

ive always been skinny and eat like a raccoon...but 90% of the time food is fuel, i dont think ive ever said "oh im gonna treat myself to something scrumptious today"...there are things i enjoy eating more than others, but i dont consider it a treat...

im always confused by fat people, just stop eating, just eat less...the older i get the more disgusted by overweight people i have become...

As you've shown people don't like it when their healthy diet is suggested as disordered

I was confused for the longest time by the way Reddit talked about chicken breast, rice and broccoli as a meme—as if it's supposed to be a bad meal and not a tasty and wholesome one.

I find that keeping things strict takes less willpower than small indulgences. Eating 1 cookie is harder than eating 0 cookies, which is harder than eating 4 cookies.

Also, tons of sauces are overpowering and kinda gross. I hate when there's some great big mix of meat and vegetables, and it all tastes the exact same because hey isn't ripping a line of cardamom and ginger so much tastier?

>Why are people who are content with their simple, healthy, and cheap meals not changing them? I just don't get it! I just can't wrap my head around it at all! Wouldn't it be better if they were unsatisfied with their diet so they could be more prone to making their food unhealthy, expensive, and take more time to prepare like mine? God, I just, you know, feel so bad for them..

Keep yourself safe, fatass

But, seriously, what is this comment actually about? Resentment towards people who aren't slaves to junk food like they are. It's not a question since the answer is self-evident: they're perfectly happy with their food already. Rather, it's a solicitation to other fatasses to agree with them so they feel less pathetic for a minute or two. "Alright, we may be slaves to food, but that's just the norm and people who aren't are oddballs!"

Edit: Notice, by the way, that OP didn't respond to a single comment out of 400+ because it was never about having obvious things explained to them in the first place.

B-word honey is still sugar. teriyaki sauce is mask for honkys that can't cook.

I'm guessing because they think: "Food is fuel" Do you add teriyaki seasoning to your car's fuel tank?

:grug:

There's fuel boosters that some people buy. That's basically adding seasoning to the fuel in your tank.

There are so many health benefits to spices that they are missing out on. I use turmeric and black pepper for anti inflammation. When my joints hurt or muscles are sore I go hard on turmeric (i prefer it in milk or on veggies) and my pain is drastically reduced. Hot peppers are good for your circulation. So many spices can be used for health benefits why miss out on flavor AND health?

Only fatties would talk about shit like this. Fit people eat their proteins and veg and know they're healthy. Fatties fixate on magic fixes, "superfoods" and shit like turmeric and black pepper which is basically homeopathy rather than actually sorting out their diets.

This entire thread is ragebait for me. I completely transformed my body over the last few years by working out, exercising and eating better. A large part of my diet improvement has come from finding a stable base of meals that work for me and that I can eat each day, then I homecook something nice for me and the wife every night and eat out at restaurants about once a week.

So until 6pm I generally eat the same thing every day, and I'm fine with that. I have a red fruit/oat/protein smoothie for breakfast every day that I prep every night so that I can drink it the second I wake up while I chill in bed.

A lot of my friends lost their darn minds over this. "Wow you have a liquid breakfast? And it's the same thing every day? That doesn't sound healthy!". Well I've transformed my fricking body and you're overweight as shit and eat Cheerios.
