Getting a range finder really humbles you. 270 is about what I hit consistently when I am roping balls and they are findable, every now then I'll get a good bounce and it will be 300.

I know I can carry 270 cause I always go for a green over water that's 270.

Not me tho, I can easily hit it a few miles.

The net is 200-225 so it's your eyes fooling you that he is nuking it.

The balls and clubs there are pretty dead. Limits spin and distance so people don't fly the net. So to launch on you have to absolutely piss on it. Which would normally lead to a slice or a hook, but since the ball is pretty dead it goes straighter than normal. You can still slice it but there is a lot more forgiveness in your misses.

He is swinging out of his shoes trying to kill the ball. With a real ball and club he probably has zero control.
