one time i was trying to take an amusement park ride with my fat-butt friend and the little lap bar couldn't close over us because he was too fricking fat so the 17-y/o running it had to kick us out and the second-hand mortification I felt was so overpowering i literally cannot imagine ever letting myself get to a point where there was a risk of that happening to me. like I wanted to die and I wasn't even the fatty.

I'm only normal obese not morbidly. But December the popeye's guy recognized me and recited my order before I could... The shame was unimagineable. I just drove away. I haven't gone back since. I've been excercising my butt off and eating healthier since. My only saving grace is no one I know saw that. Did you two talk about that or was that one of things you never discuss again.

oh I missed this part lol. It was literally never spoken of again. We both got off the ride and got our tickets or whatever back without a word to each other. I figured he was probably actively suicidal, and I just decided to pretend it didn't happen, which he seemed grateful for.
