I think part of it is their subconscious need to test the men around them. Unfortunately, social pressure makes a lot of them go on the attack if you ever realize whatever it is they actually want now.

Oh god, my uncle is like 5'2 and slim, and his wife is enormous and just relentlessly harangues him. He mainly hides in the shed out the back and plays with his Warhammer shit, his life is so depressing.

Literally he picked us up from the airport when we went to see them 30 minutes late, and the first thing she said was "Sorry we're late, but someone doesn't know how to drive properly."

I respect his tenacity tbh, even if he is incredibly pathetic

I'm a writer with a goal of writing for television one day, but after years of trying and failing to break in, I pivoted to writing Novels (But in monthly chapters like episodes of TV shows) instead.

I'm not great at it, clearly, and after thousands of pages of content, and years of never missing a deadline (all my books are attached below in PDF format) I've had zero luck garnering any interest. I get it. My prose sucks.

I'm super lonely, I have no real world friends and no connections. I have no one helping me achieve my dreams, no one really supporting me besides the few patreons who have shown their support. I have no representation and all of this leads up to no hope.

Just reading that made me depressed, Jesus what a sad sack
