Why should they respond to the interview question seriously? They're ASU students, they don't do anything else seriously. The social desirability bias here obviously points high, they want to have fun with their friends, not think about the difficulties of adult life. Nobody idly fantasizes about taking a vacation in Delaware, and yet Delaware's third-rate beaches have a booming tourist industry. Let them dream about Cancun; they'll end up in Delaware anyway.
