Do I give a homeless patient their crack pipe back? : nursing

So all the folks saying it isn't a weapon have never had a crack/meth head bust their pipe and try to stab people with it. Also had a girl hide one in her vagina, it broke and lacerated the crap out of her vulva. If they have a bag it goes in there and is given back while they are walking out the front door. Drugs are thrown in the sharps container, cops in our area have way to much to do besides care about a small bag of crack/meth.
