Dealing with sextortion

TL;DR: I am the victim of online sextortion. Need help on how to deal with the consequences.

I have a nightmare of an experience with online dating. I matched with this woman who claimed to be local, 28 years old, works as a personal assistant. She gave me her phone number and we continued chatting via whatsapp. The conversation eventually turned sexual. We had a video call in which she ended up masturbating with a dildo and asked me to show my peepee. Without my knowledge she recorded me. She then doxxed me and threatened to turn my life into "digital heck". And that's exactly what I've been dealing with ever since.

To show me she wasn't bluffing, she started listing people that are somehow connected to me (Facebook connections, former co-workers, ex-wife, etc.). She also found out where I work and got a long list of people who work at the same company. She threatened to start sending the video unless I pay.

I caved. I paid her $500 over Zelle. Then she demanded another $500. I complied. Then she demanded $2500. At that point I realized that she will never stop, and told her to go away. Well.. she ended up sending the video to the people at my company (about 50 or so). It's a reasonably company, but still, word gets around. Oh, and just to cause maximum damage, she claimed to be 16 years old and accused me of being a ped0file.

I am beyond devastated. This completely broke me. I can't focus on work. Can't look my coworkers in the eye. Can't even get up in the morning.

I did go to HR before this happened and they managed to block her email address, so I am quite certain that none of the corporate emails got it. But she found people's personal email addresses (not all of them, but still a sizeable list). Nothing can be done about that.

I reported this to the police. I also gave them screenshots of all the text conversations. When I told this woman that I'm going to the police, she laughed at me. So far, all they've done is take the report.

Since then I found out just how easy it is to doxx someone. There are multiple online services that do reverse phone number lookup. If you search for your phone number, you will almost certainly find your name and multiple prior addresses. From there, linkedin. Facebook. Any social media.

Her phone number appears to be a "burner" VoIP number. To be honest, she may not even be in the same country -- we never met in person. I do have her (or accomplice) Zelle address which theoretically should be associated with her bank account.

My mind is spinning trying to figure out what to do. I was thinking of replying to the email she sent to the people my company (she CC'd me) to at least explain the situation. I asked HR about it. They did not outright prohibit it, but they strongly advised against it. I know that this will not undo the damage, but I can, at a minimum, disprove the ped0 allegation.

So I turn to the blind community's collective wisdom for advise. I don't even know where to begin with this. What should be my next step?
