I absolutely love this series and how much anger Sarah J. Maas causes in her "fans." They got so mad at her for the main character deciding to stay pregnant in one of the later books even though such a pregnancy is dangerous because--surprise surprise--pro-choice means exactly that, not just pro-abortion. Also, so many fans go out of their way to say certain characters and tropes are racist in this series when it's about faeries. There are no races in the fae world. And the whole "omg main human character is only 21, she a little tiny baby; main love interest is 400 years old he predator!" is bogus. bussy > gussy

I hope Sarah J. Maas continues to get rich from these books, because it honestly feels like she hit the writing jackpot. The writing isn't amazing, but it's obvious this is a passion project and it's a fun read.
