I think I've realized most restaurants are a scam. :marseymerchant: It makes sense to buy cheap food (fast food, bars), or very expensive food but most everything is just the same SYSCO slop made by high schoolers or addicts :marseyschizotwitch:

Delivery apps here made them really cost effective. Dinner a few days ago for less than 2 USD for example.

lol delivery apps here are such a scam and after I started getting my own food from the same places I realised I was cucked into paying so much of a mark-up just to order the same food via pick-up if I ordered through the app instead of doing the same thing at the stalls :marseybangfast:

Their practice of telling you "omg 10-20% discount if you pick up the food yourself guysssssss" reallyyyyyyyyy tricks the heck out of people :marseyjewoftheorient!:

I get free deliveries from places 10km away so even if it was a bit more marked up it'd be worth it. I live in sort of an upscale area so all the restaurants nearby are beyond my budget range :marseypoor:

Yah if you get delivery then it's still fine, last week I ordered pick-up from this place which didn't get the order from the app so I placed my order with the place in person anyway and then I realised the app marked up the prices for pick-up 15-20% still LOL :marseybangfast: for some reason I've never bothered to compare prices for pick-up orders on the app vs the eateries themselves for YEARS :marseychingchongpearlclutch:

Funny enough Indian would probably be on a "good place to go" - anything ethnic that I've vetted.
