Man I was at Chipotle once and they put the tiniest scoop of guacamole on my bowl. I asked for more and the guy said “you want double portions”, I told him I'd like a complete single portion and he got really nervous.

I was at Subway once like 5 years ago and I asked for Jalapenos. The dude grabbed a handful of em from the box. "Nice", I thought, "gonna get a decent amount". He then proceeded to audibly count the individual slices of jalapeno as he laid them on my sandwich. 6 pieces in total. "I'll take more of those, thanks" I said. He looked at me confused and replied "I can give you 6 more for $1".
I haven't had a subway sandwich since then.
