:marseybegging: Give me some wine recommendations for Thanksgiving dinner (<$20 a bottle) :marseywinemom:

I usually drink gin or vodka alone so I don't know what wine to serve at a group event. I don't want to ask my older relatives to bring anything, they'll insist water is fine (what we had last year) and my brother will bring coke zero if I ask. Please include some non-reds, my mom sez red gives her headaches. :marseybegging:

I like Santa Margherita...

It's around $20 (on sale), and good enough that wine snobs seem to appreciate it. Plus it's tasty :marseylickinglips:

New Zealand whites taste nice and are cheap and cheerful. I like Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc and Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc. For red, Chilean cabernet sauvignons are good, like Casa Silva Dona Dominga Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon Valle de Colchagua. Dark Horse brand anything is cheap and I love it all.

And I wouldn't turn my nose up at boxed wine. They are pretty good and a better bargain, like Black Box or Bota :marseydrunk:

I've already put some black box cartons on my next grocery store order and going to see what else they carry from everyone's recommendations, then I plan to hit up some liquor stores on Monday and see what I can find. I decided to keep my house stocked in wine until New Years since we will have lots of little get togethers
