Gaze upon my feast, ye jolly, and rejoice!

Wife got sick, so I had to take over Christmas dinner. I haven't done duck in a min so I'm sure it's overcooked but I'm happy with the crispy skin.

  • Roast duck (glazed)

  • Potatoes au gratin

  • Roast baby potatoes

  • Roast garlic broccoli

  • Blanched broccoli

  • Maple carrots

  • Rolls (not from scratch)

Merry Christmas again straggots!

Darn, it all looks delicious! :marseylickinglips:

How is duck compared to chicken or turkey? I've never had it.

Make it with this recipe, but dry brine it 12-24 hrs ahead of time with ginger, cinammon, star anise, and orange peel. You will never want to eat another bird.

it's my favourite poultry :marseylickinglips: it tastes distinctively different from chicken or turkey and it's savoury with a hint of gameyness :marseyslurpfast: the skin is super tasty and crispy if roasted well :horny: meat is juicy and succulent too :marseyhannibal: you should try it lol
