I'm being serious. I'm a Bi Zoomer so I wasn't there for the aids crisis. But I did graduate college during the Covid Pandemic, and I followed all of the rules. I wore my mask, barely left the house, the works. Covid was a lot less deadly then aids and avoiding it was a lot more intense. Am I supposed to pity guys that couldn't stop fricking when I was able to not leave my home?
I'm being deadly serious here. I want to understand why it was so bad.

It's impossible to explain to a zoomer. So, back in the day, when you were bored, there was no tiktok, so you had to go out to parties and meet people. And while you were meeting people, you hadn't jerked off to internet pornography six times that day, so you were horny as frick. So you had s*x with them. That was just what you did. Telling people not to go out to parties, or telling people at parties not to hook up, would be like telling a person not to breathe air. Sure, they might agree with the theory, but if they stopped paying attention for a few moments, they'd be back doing it without noticing. I mean, we all saw what happened with covid. Most people said "stay inside all the time and never talk to anybody? That's what I do anyways!". But things were different back then.
