Were the founding fathers papers even read by voters back then.
I've got a hilarious piece of family history from like 1830 where a guy writes a cousin for family stories and the guy replies "too busy farming, being informed is for nerds"
I think Kamala being a woman did hurt her a bit in the election, but it's not a huge factor. Most rightoid-leaning people would rather vote for Margaret Thatcher or Marine Le Pen than for Tim Walz.

Heck, I wish I could have voted for Trump with misogyny in my heart. That would've been a lot of fun. Sadly, I was robbed of that simple pleasure by my need to vote against her shitty policy positions.
Redditors have such a high opinion of themselves that they pretend that /r/politics isn't the most shilled place on the internet and think only rightoids are subject to online manipulation
Even the thesis in his link lays out perfectly why Reddit is being used to make people depressed but the entire argument is "lol dumb rightoids fall for China and Russia"

It really is like talking to a toddler, or the Spongebob "This is your wallet" gag. Both sides, really.
I had this big comment brewing in my head about 'the economy and how middle america doesn't agree with redditors and it doesn't matter what redditors think, they're the minority, and most people don't want 4 more years of maybe doing biden stuff maybe doing her own stuff that biden should've been doing' but I'm tired.
I'll stick it out for this at least:
Hurricane Helene couldn't have come at a better time for Trump. Barely a month before election and we're seeing daily stories about "Another hundred billion to the dipshit war overseas and illegal beaners while hardworking r-slurred Americans are drying off." Redditors will again handwave this away saying "well that's a different budget, and it was already spent."
Your average American doesn't care that it's 'a DiFfErEnT bUdGeT'. It's money earmarked to help civilians being used to help every civilian except our own. It's our budget. We can change it. Literally any other country on Earth, in the same position, would say "Whoops sorry Kaneighborstan, we have our own natural disaster to deal with right now" and transfer funds to help their own citizens. But no, wetbacks and whatever the slur is for venezuelans gets the money before Bob-Jim Higgins. This is the exact kind of bureaucracy people are tired of, and they aren't going to vote for another 4 years of it.

>Here's the worst part. In 2-3 years, things will be slightly better thanks the Biden policies and President Trump will take credit for the bounce back.
Ah yes. Classic.
Everything good is Biden's fault, everything bad is Trump's. Whoever is in office is irrelevant.

I may not be quick to have the answer as soon as you ask it about a specific policy issue sometimes because I'm going to want to research it, I'm going to want to study it. I'm kind of a nerd sometimes, I confess...
And some might call that a weakness, especially if you're, you know, in an interview, or just kind of, you know, being asked a certain question and just expected to have the right answer right away. But that's how I that's how I work.

Both had ludicrously shit policy positions. But at least we know from Trump's first term he's not actually gonna push for it.
