Was it objectively bad or just
worse than the original? If it has even half the style of the source 
material I can easily see it being a 10/10 for someone who refuses to watch

I liked the first
two episodes because the production side was a masterwork. They did a great 
job recreating animation into a realistic and vibrant live-action set.
The acting and writing
sucked though and killed 
it.
