His cope is that he considers himself to be of "American heritage." It's how he keeps most of the branding up as well - he's not a white supremacist, he's an American supremacist. If I'm as charitable to Fuentes as possible, he's probably a "race realist"-type guy at most. I never really hear him make explicit policy prescriptions, usually he'll just bring up a crazy situation or stat and say "isn't that crazy?" Makes it hard to pin down what he ideologically believes in explicit terms. Really all he's very clear about is not liking Jews.
He's also really good at saying things without saying them, and getting other people to make his points for him. In this video here, at around 30:00 one of the black No Jumper guys actually drops the 14% statistic himself - and he does it because Nick leads the conversation there and waits for someone to fill the space with the stat. Now Nick's point looks legitimized and he didn't even have to be the one to make it.
