What the heck are you talking about? Loveless is the worst possible album you could have picked. There are no other albums that sound like loveless. Like, it's completely its own thing. Like, I can't think of a single other album that is so completely its own thing. I also have a really hard time believing there are people who listen to it and think it's just “good”. Like, its either “this is complete noise” or “this is the best thing I've ever heard”

Loveless induces altered states of mind for me. The first time I really listened to that album is one of the best experiences of my life. I honestly don't understand thinking that it's just a good album. I can completely understand hating it though

I just think it's good. I don't really have anything else to add. There's nothing wrong with the album or anything. I just think it drags a bit in places and it's not as melodic as I would've liked. It's also still got some of the more dated 90s rock cliches that I don't really enjoy. Maybe it's the seinfeld is unfunny effect. It's not that I don't love shoegaze or noise rock/pop, in fact they're my two favorite genres besides rap. I just didn't see it as anything more than a really solid front-to-back album with a few hitches here and there.

It's one of my favorite albums because it does weird shit to my brain that nothing else does. I have to assume that it hasn't had this effect on you. But then I don't understand why you would like it without that effect
