What do you think of it, years later?
I couldn't finish it, it just seemed like it dragged. With some tighter editing I think I would have finished it but I have no attention span.
Bojack Horseman seems like it was the quintessential millenial show

I actually enjoyed it for a couple of seasons but I couldn't finish it. Basically every episode just turned into: "Oh no, Bojack is so self-destructive and has made bad decisions and his life is so sad as a result and he'll never recover and everything sucks and is bad and sad " and then presented that idea in various slightly amusing ways..
Maybe it got better at some point later on but it wasn't good enough to keep pushing through

Not really, but it was a great premise. There were still some great episodes here and there. His mom's funeral was a great scene on the serious side.

in the drawer. I'm going 
to get take a shower

that bottle 
no matter 
what. If you want to kill me you can do it and no one will ever know. It's your decision.” He goes and showers and she's gone when he comes back. He pours the whiskey in a glass 
and drinks it. The show ends with him sitting 
on the couch 
being miserable 
but alive.
