Idk, I only ever watched the first two movies from like 1970 or whatever, the first one was nice, second one was pretty bad. Was planning to watch the newer movies for some time now, but havent yet.
I dont think I have ever seen a good movie made by tim burton, so Im not surprised the movie sucked. Idk why some people hype that neighbor so much.

He got some literal paranoid schizophrenic theory that we're all pedos working for @Xaviera who is the chief libertarian. He still rants about us in his videos sometimes.
It was okay. They were trying to do that single actor in one location talking to people elsewhere thing like Pontypool or something. You could tell the writer was running out of ideas by the end of the film though and it felt like it was getting stretched out and needlessly vague and I don't like open to interpretation endings.

I don't miss that part from olden TV. I'm watching The Next Generation and I've noticed how much Picard has to recap stuff that happened BEFORE A COMMERCIAL BREAK
Trap - not enough happens, and there's too much of Shymalan's daughter in it. Not good.
Ezra - divorced dad wish fulfilment. Schmaltzy but the odd moment of humour, but still pretty intolerable
The Bikeriders - really liked it, it was less a narrative and more a snapshot of a group of men sharing a hobby as that hobby grew out of their control. Terrific performances.
Taskmaster NZ Season 5, first two episodes - one of the contestants won't be in the studio episodes, apparently any of them, which undermines the format, but it's still a great format well-executed. Plus one of the most awesome things ever televised happens in the second episode.
Previous contestants, which is nice at least. Also, unlike the couple of times the UK version has had to do it the replacement contestant brings in their own prize for the prize task rather than having to sell the original competitor's prize for them.
Watched Crimson tide and Beverly hills cop this week.
Crimson tide was a great thriller. 8/10. Great submarine scenes. Fun plot, Interesting characters. The only thing that bothered me, is that I don't think that Russian ICBMs require fueling - afaik all ICBMs still in action have solid fuel motors, so they require almost zero prep for lift-off. But that's not a big complaint.
Beverly hills cop disappointed me however. I just didn't find it that funny or interesting. Outside of like 2 funny scenes the entire thing was incredibly dull. I'm wondering if that's just the movie showing its age - maybe it was great for the time, but by now everything it tried to do was done way better by somebody else - or if maybe this type of movie is just not for me. 4/10. Kino music though.
More like 10/10. It's too bad audiences are too dumb these days to make a movie where there's a conflict between two good people who mean well.
I don't think that Russian ICBMs require fueling - afaik all ICBMs still in action have solid fuel motors, so they require almost zero prep for lift-off.
I just looked this up and I was surprised to find the Russians are still using a lot of liquid-fueled missiles. Back in the 1960s they were using liquid oxygen, which you can't keep in the rocket long because it boils off. Now they've got liquid fuel that can be kept in the rocket for "long periods" but I don't know how long that is. IIRC since it's corrosive you can't leave it in there forever. So maybe there would be some missiles that are left empty until there's some crisis where they expect nuclear war. But yeah, it's probably just a plot device for the movie.
Beverly hills cop disappointed me... now everything it tried to do was done way better by somebody else
That's exactly the impression I got. Even just a few years later there was Lethal Weapon which I think is the same basic concept but done better.
Watched Clifford (1994) with Martin Short & Charles Grodin. Was pretty goofy. Was about a 5/10. Mostly just funny to see Short play a 10yr old while 40yrs old, himself. Have been watching a bunch of Jiminy Glick interviews after knowing next to nothing about Martin Short so I guess I'm learning what his style of comedy is a bit. Not the worst thing.
