Is Disney bad at Star Wars? :marseythonk:

Wake up !kino time to discuss the fall of Star slop again :marseyaware:

Nothing juicy in the /r/boxoffice thread yet but I get the feeling some of these comments might yield some sneed :marsey57:

Seeing all the comments saying "Andor was the only good thing Disney made." Honestly, it makes perfect sense that you like Andor so much. Andor was a cold, miserable, deadly serious show - in other words, it perfectly matches exactly the kind of people Star Wars fans are. The most abysmally hateful and toxic people ever.

On toxic Star Wars fans a lot of it is due to Disney. Acolyte you see a press tour of people saying Star Wars is sexist and racist. Rey movie director is a feminist activist documentary director. Disney reminds me of vegan activist. I'm vegan and I cringe at how vegans try to convert people. These feminist activist are just making people hate feminism.

Just frick all of you people. I genuinely can't take this fandom anymore. THE. WORST. FRICKING. FANDOM. EVER.

It seems like Lucasfilm just can't stop doubling down on the shit that's killing the franchise. Watch a trailer for Acolyte and they make a less than subtle point out of showing "no white men". Any convention speech revolves around "the force is female" and other crap which simply puts off the audience.

So yeah, constantly shit on your audience and you lose them. No amount of leftoid pandering is going to make them suddenly like Star Wars.

Lucasfilms forgot that Star Wars is samurai and cowboy movies that have been mayo-ified and swapped out katanas with laser swords and guns with laser guns.

The Mandalorian is just Lone Wolf and Cub in space except cucked.

Disney's bread and butter are middle aged ladies who still want to be princesses and will spend unbounded amounts of money to that end.

Why would they try to sell space-cowboy when they already know there's more money in space-princess?

Because they bought Star wars (and Marvel) so they could reach their mostly male audience. That's the funniest part about their push to make Star wars (and Marvel) more inclusive. They spent billions on an audience they're now rejecting.
