I went on a walk in the woods and sat next to a tree for a little bit, then a beautiful dragon fly flew up to me an landed on a tree leaf nearby. I like stsred at it for 20 minutes. It really is crazy how much the helicoptr was designed on them. This guybwas green/purple.and around 2½inched long. Then he zipped off and i realized that the world really is full of wonder and beauty

Dragonflies are one of the few living creatures that have never harmed me in any way, except to consistently scare the shit out of me.

I don't know if they're just short sighted or something, but I've had a dragonfly fly at me, at speed, only to veer away from hitting me at the very last second, so many times that I refuse to believe the frickers don't do it on purpose. And every time I see one of those frickers coming at me, I get 'Nam flashbacks, like a chopper's coming at me, even tho I'm way too young to have ever been in 'Nam.

Which is just a long way of saying frick dragonflies.
