I watched Stanley Kubrick's Spartacus for the first time.

It's good, but it has no right to be three hours and fifteen minutes long.

Also, Kirk Douglas as Spartacus was probably the least memorable character in the film, with the possible exception of Julius Caesar, who I only paid attention to because, well, he's fricking Caesar and I kept expecting him to do Caesar things, which he never really did, because this was Young Caesar.
