I think calling Mikey Madison's role in Anora "a sexualized role" is kind of insinuating that Sean Baker didn't treat the representation of a s*x worker with the utmost respect. His MO has always been to humanize those that are often disregarded by society. I too wished Demi won, but your notion that this is some kind of tragic irony is a little baseless.
