It's something that redscaroids say because it makes them feel smart. A simpler explanation is that you only notice botched plastic surgery jobs, because they stand out a lot more.
Taylor Swift is a great example of a tasteful plastic surgery. It looks like she had at least an eye job, a nose job and a boob job.

You misunderstand what the fashion industry has become. Its been decades since it was about hot foids. It is now about a foid being the empty canvas and the clothes/ surgery being the vision of art placed upon her.
Modeling is basically rich/ self centered buttholes using hot foids as a raw resource and often enough destroying them in the process.
